Are you accepting new clients?
Yes! However, I stay pretty booked up with my current fur clientele so appointment availability is limited. Anyone who would like to become a new client can submit a New Client Request Form. and I will work you into my schedule as soon as I can.

How much do you charge?
Prices vary based on the pet's breed, size, temperament/behavior during grooming, fur condition and what service is requested/needed. For a complete list of services and pricing, please visit my Services and Pricing page.

What is your service area?
I service the areas of Logan, OH, New Straitsville, OH, Union Furnace, OH, New Plymouth, OH, Haydenville, OH, Nelsonville, OH, and The Plains, OH.
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, credit/debit card, and Venmo.

Do you need to use my water/electric?
No, my van is completely self-sufficient, equipped with a battery inverter for electric, fresh and gray water tanks, water heater, bathing area, and it's climate controlled to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The only thing I need when I arrive for our appointment is a level and safe spot to park, and your pet.

Do you offer weekend (Saturday, Sunday) appointments?
I offer limited Saturday appointments. However, these appointments fill up fast and may not always be available. I do not offer appointments on Sundays.
Do I have to be home while you groom my pet?
For your pet's first grooming session I prefer to meet you in person so that we can discuss your pet's grooming instructions and specific needs. However, after your pet's first session, if you cannot be home during our grooming appointment, arrangements can be made for me to groom your pet while you're out. Arrangements for this must be made PRIOR to your appointment time. Your pet will receive a quick potty break before and after our grooming session. Your pet must be easily accessible when I arrive.

How often should I get my pet groomed?
This depends on your pet's grooming needs and your personal preferences. Most pets are on a 4 to 6 week grooming schedule. However, every pet is unique and I am happy to discuss a grooming schedule plan during our grooming session that will meet you and your pet's needs.

Do you groom large dogs?
At this time I am not grooming large dogs. Due to some health limitations I'm only able to accommodate dogs up to 35 lbs. However, please check back as this may change in the future.

Do you groom pets that bite / are aggressive?
No. Unfortunately, due to some recent health issues I'm immunocompromised and at a higher risk of infection from bite wounds. Therefore I am not able to take the additional risk of grooming pets who have a bite history or show aggression.

What if I don't know if my dog will try to bite or not?
I'm willing to meet and attempt to groom your pet if you are unsure of their bite tendencies. However, if your pet exhibits signs of aggression or biting during our meeting or during the groom, I will stop the grooming immediately and bring your pet back inside, and you will be charged for the portion of the groom I was able to complete. This may mean that your pet is only partial finished.
How long will it take to groom my pet?
This depends on a number of factors; what service is being done, pet's breed, size, temperament/behavior during grooming, and fur condition. A pedicure only appointment usually takes approximately 10-20 minutes per pet, where as a full groom can take 1.5 - 3.5 hours per pet depending on the factors mentioned above. I can provide an estimate on how long it will take when you schedule your pet's appointment. However, I work at your pet's pace so the time quoted is just an approximation and can take longer or shorter.

Why do you give an arrival window and not an exact time for my appointment?
A number of factors play into when I will arrive for our appointment. I do my best to provide an accurate arrival time. However, I work with living creatures who sometimes need a little extra time during our grooming session. I also drive in traffic that can be unpredictable at times or slowed down because of inclement weather. If requested I can call or text when I am heading your way so you know better when to expect me.
